Student House of Representatives-Second Session

The House of Representatives is the lower house of the Legislature. The House represents the concerns of campus student organizations within the Student Government Association. Representatives are elected by and from affiliated student organizations.
The first meeting of the House of Representatives will be held on Monday, August 21, 2006, at 7:30 p.m. in the Cone Ballroom A of the EUC. All Representatives should receive an email from Speaker Stroud concerning the first meeting of the second session of the Student House of Representatives. CLARIFICATION
SGA HOUSE MEMBERSHIP VERSUS UNIVERSITY AFFILIATION FOR STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS
Student organizations must be affiliated with UNCG in order to participate in SGA, use meeting space on campus, obtain tech support such as a website, blackboard, and apply for funding. UNCG Student Organization Affiliation and Re-Affiliation takes place at the start of fall and spring semester, and is administered by the Office of Student Life. Participation in SGA does not guarantee affiliation. They are two separate processes administered by different entities.
