The Executive Cabinet for the 2017-2018 Academic Year was hand picked by the Student Body President Holly Shields. They will strive to help her complete her platform for his term : Inclusion. Sustainability. Wellness. They all have their own Vision of how they will make an Impact on the UNCG Campus and in the Greensboro Community.

Chief of Staff

Catherine Iszard

Catherine is a senior here at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro majoring in Business Administration. She is in the process of completing her Full Honors (Lloyd International and Disciplinary) in Social Media Marketing. Catherine has been involved on campus since she stepped foot here in 2014. She joined multiple honorary and Greek organizations, is a Bryan School Marshall, AMA member, and has completed the Bronze, Silver, and Gold leadership challenge. Currently she is founding two new organizations at UNCG: Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Honor Society and Association of American University Women.

Secretary of Student Affairs

Matthew Garr

Matthew is a biology major (pre-med) with a minor in chemistry. He researches organic synthesis and run track as a sprinter for UNCG. He is an active member of Pi Kappa Phi and the UNCG Athletics community. He has plans to go to medical school after undergrad.

Homayoon Ershadi

Homayoon Ershadi is a senior, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Economics. He moved to the United States eight years ago from Iran and transferred to UNCG in the Spring of 2017. Outside of his involvement with SGA, he spends his time with different student clubs around campus such as NABE and IGSSA, or stays busy by helping the SECC as a core committee member. In his free time he likes to ride/race road bikes and also promote wellness by being an advocate of cycling around campus. He rarely drives anywhere, so make sure to flag him down when he’s riding his bike and say hi!

Kerry Aguilera

Kerry is a Senior at the University of North Carolina and is double majoring in International/Global Studies and Psychology. I have lived in Mexico, Georgia, and North Carolina. As Secretary of Community Affairs, I intend to get UNCG more involved in community service projects to help our Greensboro community. I also plan to increase relations between UNCG and other colleges in Greensboro.

Ernesto Brett Dennison

Ernesto is Senior from Kitty Hawk, NC. He is double majoring in African Disparate Studies and Photography. He is an experienced leader involved with several student organizations on campus. He is an Eagle Scout, a past president of Theta Delta Chi, and a current College Ambassador for AWAKE Chocolate. He runs several student group Instagram accounts and has several years of experience in promotional marketing.

Sam Huffstetler 

Sam is a double major pursuing degrees in Communication Studies and Anthropology.  She has served previously in Student Government as a senator and Finance Committee Chair.  Sam works for the Campus Activities and Programs office and enjoys giving back to the UNCG community.  She is also a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma.
